New openings, new services and exciting changes are giving visitors even more reasons to head to the Concourse this autumn.
There’s plenty happening at the Concourse this autumn, with businesses opening, familiar names making moves and an important new service arriving in Skelmersdale town centre.

CJ Toys is now open and looking fantastic, with plenty of choice for families as the countdown to Christmas begins.
September will also see the anticipated opening of the new Banking Hub, opposite Poundland. Customers will be able to access basic banking services, with representatives from Halifax, Lloyds, NatWest, RBS and Barclays available on designated days for more complex support.
Food lovers can also look forward to Roast, opening opposite Halifax in early September and bringing a tasty new food-to-go option to the Concourse.
The Market Hall has also recently welcomed Nutrix Performance, offering protein drinks and bars, workout supplements, fresh smoothies and açai bowls. Plus, One Call Taxis is relocating into the Market Hall.
Alongside the latest arrivals, the Concourse continues to offer opportunities for independent businesses to become part of the centre, while a programme of community events is set to bring even more activity throughout autumn.

What’s On This Autumn
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Saturday 26 September | 10am–2pm
Head to the ground floor for hot drinks, homemade cakes, a tombola and guess the weight of the cake, with all funds raised supporting Macmillan.
Halloween at the Concourse
Friday 30 October | 10am–2pm
The Concourse and About the Town Central are joining forces for a free family Halloween event, with arts and crafts, free face painting, fancy dress and competitions.
